I paint using oil paints, raw pigments, and cold wax. I create puzzles or visual problems and then, if I am successful, solve them. If I can not find an answer to the problem, I change it until I can. This sometimes takes years.
When people approach my work I want them to look at the overall painting, then get close and explore the small marks and layers.
All of these paintings are based on transition from one place to another. It might be the mental, the physical, or dimensional, but all of them show before and after in one way or another.
I hope you enjoy looking.
