Anam Cara Cellars Show

New show of my Vineyard paintings is now up at Anam Cara Cellars in Newberg through August 19th. All work is oil and cold wax on mounted or stretched linen
"Bench Lands" 30x60
"In Vinia III" 60x30
I had the pleasure of meeting Shilla and Nick back in 208 while gathering wines for  Oregon Mozart Players (one bottle from nearly every vineyard in Oregon), I drove up the the farm house and met her and the dogs, had a nice shat then headed out to gather more wines. Each time I tasted a wine, met someone new, or visited a winery, I would make a link back to their site and if possible, write tasting notes.
I collected my one bottle from her for three years and kept in touch.
Last year they came down to Eugene to take part in the Oregon Truffle Festival and show their wines at the Sunday afternoon event at the Hilton Hotel.

My large paintings have been on the walls there for many years and she saw my name. She really had no idea what I did besides drive around gathering wine so it was a bit of a surprise to see the name! My wife and I came and tasted and Shiella ask about my paintings. From there we decided to do a show.
The paintings I did for Anam Cara Cellars will be featured as the first  art show at the Oregon State Capital from August 21-October 22.
