"Taking Root"

I was honored to be accepted into a very impressive and important collection of Northwest artists in Seattle. This 5'x5' oil and wax on mounted linen will hang with such notables as Frank Okada (my teacher), Jacob Lawrence, Mark Toby, Jim Dine, Dale Chihuly, Morris Graves, and so many more. I felt like a kid in a candy store! Everywhere I looked I saw work the moved, intrigued, or astounded me.

This is a huge honor. I hope many people will get to see it and I hope they respond.
